This is a critical period and abortion funds need our help. Abortion is a human right and essential health care. Texas’s hypocritical politics should not come as a surprise; trying to control personal medical decisions about someone’s reproductive system while simultaneously advocating for my body my choice when it comes to wearing a mask during a pandemic AND claiming to “cultivate a culture of life in Texas”(Abbott) as thousands of families are ripped apart at the border, have lost their lives at the hands of gun violence, or police brutality.

Abortion bans are clearly NOT about saving lives, they are about controlling the lives of people with uteruses and women.
